Frequently asked questions

Can I start numbering from something other than 1?

Yes - set the "Start number" field to whatever the first page should be labeled.

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. The PDF is loaded and rebuilt entirely in your browser using JavaScript - it never leaves your device.

Can I number only some pages?

This tool numbers every page in the document. To number a subset, remove the other pages first with the PDF Page Deleter, then number the result.

Will this replace numbers already printed on the page?

No - it adds a new number on top of the page content. If the original document already has page numbers printed in the same spot, both will show.
