Frequently asked questions

How does the sentence case converter work?

The text is lowercased, then the first letter after the start of the text and after each ., !, or ? is capitalized, matching normal sentence formatting.

Does it handle abbreviations like "Mr." or "U.S." correctly?

Not always — since the tool splits sentences on ., !, and ?, abbreviations followed by a capital letter can be treated as a new sentence. Review the result for text with lots of abbreviations.

Is my text sent to a server?

No. The conversion happens entirely in your browser as you type — nothing is transmitted or logged.
