Frequently asked questions

What does "Load columns" do?

It parses the pasted CSV and lists the detected column names (or "Column 1", "Column 2", etc. when there's no header) below the input, so you can confirm which numbers to type into the columns box.

Can I reorder columns, not just remove some?

Yes. The output columns appear in the exact order you list them, so "3,1" puts the original third column first and the first column second.

Can I repeat a column?

Yes, listing the same column number twice includes it twice in the output.

Is my data uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything happens locally in your browser using JavaScript — nothing you paste is sent to a server.
