Free CSV Viewer
Paste CSV data and view it as a clean, sortable-looking table — instantly, entirely in your browser.
How to view a CSV file as a table
-
1
Paste your CSV
Paste CSV data into the box, choosing the matching delimiter if it isn't a comma.
-
2
Click "View table →"
The data renders as a table, with the first row treated as a header if the checkbox is on.
-
3
Scan or scroll
Wide tables scroll horizontally so you can check every column without losing your place.
Example use cases
Sanity-checking an export
Quickly confirm a CSV export from a spreadsheet or database looks right before sharing or importing it elsewhere.
Reviewing data from a colleague
Read a CSV someone pasted into chat or email without opening a spreadsheet program.
Spotting misaligned columns
Catch rows with the wrong number of fields, which is easy to miss when a CSV is only read as raw text.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a row limit?
No hard limit is enforced, but very large files (tens of thousands of rows) will render slowly since the whole table is drawn at once in your browser.
Does it handle quoted fields with commas inside them?
Yes. Fields wrapped in double quotes can safely contain commas, newlines, or escaped quotes ("") and are parsed correctly.
What happens if rows have different column counts?
Missing trailing cells are shown blank, and extra cells beyond the header are still displayed as additional columns for that row.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens locally in your browser using JavaScript — nothing you paste is sent to a server.
