Frequently asked questions

How is the loan amount worked out?

Loan amount = Property value − Down payment. The EMI is then calculated on that loan amount using the standard reducing-balance formula.

What is loan-to-value (LTV)?

LTV is the loan amount as a percentage of the property value. Most lenders cap LTV at 75-90%, so a higher down payment usually means an easier approval and a lower EMI.

Does this include stamp duty, registration, or insurance?

No — this covers only the EMI on the principal and interest portion. Add stamp duty, registration charges, and any insurance premium separately when budgeting for the total cost.

Is my financial information sent to a server?

No. The calculation runs entirely in your browser — nothing is transmitted or logged.
